Espresso Machines
A delicious full bodied espresso with the signature foam on top is probably one of life’s greatest little secret pleasures. The aroma, taste and whole experience is probably on par with enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day!
But depending on how your day goes, finding the time to pull your own espresso can be a challenge given the time and attention to detail it requires. From picking out the right roast profile, and grind size, to the right water temperature, pressure, and pull time there’s a lot of factors that go into it.
Generally an espresso is much stronger than a coffee given the high pressure process it goes through. But this means there are more things that can go wrong leaving your espresso bitter, sour or even watery.
It can make you want to give up and just run to Starbucks or your local coffee shop!
But espresso’s don’t have to be that hard. Here are a few questions to think about to make it easier:
– Do you have a favorite espresso beverage type?
Latte
Cappuccino
Macchiato
Americano
– How involved do you want to be in your espresso?
Semi automatic
Super automatic
Manual
ESE pods
– Do you have a brand that you trust the most?
Breville
De’Longhi
Nespresso
